Welcome to the Science of Essential Balance (SEB) Curriculum for 9th grade, where we explore energy management through exercise and diet. This program focuses on how our bodies use nutrients to produce energy and maintain balance for health and performance. The curriculum includes two units: “iDiet and iExercise” and “myHealth, myWay.” Students will learn about energy metabolism, the role of physical activity, and how to achieve an energy-balanced lifestyle with moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) tasks.
